Rupert Grint feels "empty and lost" now Potter's over

*Rupert Grint is having a difficult time letting go of the Harry
Potter films, saying that he feels “empty and lost”.*

Many people are feeling a bit glum in the wake of the franchise's
final release, but none more so than Grint as he told the press:

“I loved every minute of it, and I’m really going to miss
it. I felt empty and a bit lost, and it’s taken me a while to
accept it’s over.”

Grint went to say how the films started to take precedent over his
earlier, slightly less glamorous, career ambition:

“When Harry Potter started, I wanted to be an ice-cream man, but
the films showed me that I wanted to be an actor, although for the
first three I didn’t take it very seriously.

He added, “I just stood where I was told and read my lines. Then
with the fourth film I started caring about my performance.”

Looks like Ron Weasely is all grown up. Brings a tear to the eye,
don’t you think?

What's the movie about the young girl and her family who move in with a painter?

Ok, I can't for the life of me remember the title of this movie, but I
know most of the plot. There's a poor woman with two daughters, one
outspoken and confident, the other mentally challenged. They sell
apples. The family ends up moving in with a painter where one of the
girls becomes his assistant. There's this spoiled rich girl who
eventually becomes friends with the painter girl. She has her portrait
painted, and for some reason I think her dad is rich because he sells
a rare type of flower or something.

I swear it's a real movie! Google just hasn't been much help. It keeps
giving me "Girl with the Pearl Earring." A fine movie, but not the one
I'm looking for. Thanks for helping!

Guitar shop owner, possibly nuts?

There's a guitar sitting in the shop that I really want to buy. It's a
gibson Cloud 9, and there's 2 in the shop. it's 8,750$ and the owner
of the shop plays both of them. I had the money and had finished
buying and refurbishing 3 guitars used from a bad home. As I was
making the purchase he asked how many guitars I owned and I told him I
couldn't quite count. He told me he wouldn't sell it to me on the
grounds that it would not be going to a good home and he liked it too
much. Is this illegal or just very stupid?

Guillermo del Toro says Mountains Of Madness could still happen

*Guillermo del Toro has given us all a little hope that his defunct HP
Lovecraft adaptation _At The Mountains Of Madness_ could still happen
one day.*

While talking with _Movieline_, the director revealed that he’s
hopeful that he’ll get to helm the adaptation one day.

“I think it's either going to happen one day in the right way,
or I really think the worst thing that can happen to a movie like that
is for it to get filmed the wrong way,” the director says.

“There are two ways of preserving the greatness of a movie:
making it, or not making it. But what you cannot do is make it the
wrong way because you needed to make it, that's silly.”

Del Toro had been lining up _Madness_ as his next project, and planned
to shoot the film in 3D (with James Cameron's help). But Universal
decided not to greenlight the movie because of its hefty budget.

Instead, del Toro is now working on his PG-13 monster movie _Pacific
Rim_, which is due out in 2013.
